A convicted rapist has written from his cell that prisoners are being ‘ripped off’ for items like olive oil and tuna.
Adam Marchment, who is serving a 10-year prison sentence for raping a 15-year-old girl and sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl, carried out a price comparison survey from his cell at HMP Parkhurst.
He also got a relative to check the prices of the items at supermarkets and against recommended retail prices.
