A vile rapist who snatched an 18-year-old woman from a railway station before dragging her off to a remote wooded area where he repeatedly assaulted has been jailed for 15 years.

Kapil Dogra, 38, of High Street in Addlestone, was sentenced at Reading Crown Court after he was found guilty in October of multiple attacks on the teenager.

Dogra was convicted on one count of rape, two of assault by penetration and a further count of causing a female to engage in sexual activity without consent.

He has been placed on the Sex Offenders’ Register indefinitely.

Police have since praised the 18-year-old victim for her bravery after she came forward to testify against Dogra at his trial.
