ALMOST 100 cases against black-cab rapist John Worboys should be reopened after his early release, lawyers for victims said today.
They have argued the CPS should reconsider action against Britain’s worst serial sex attacker.
Lawyers from Slater and Gordon and Birnberg Pierce have asked that 93 cases Worboys was not prosecuted for are reassessed.
Worboys was jailed in 2009 after being found guilty of 19 offences against 12 women.
He became a taxi driver after seeing it as an opportunity to prey on vulnerable women.
It was announced last week that a Parole Board had ruled Worboys should be released after serving less than nine years.
