Sexual predator in St. Lucie jail; sheriff urges victims to come forward with accusations

St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office urges anyone who may have been a victim of sexual predator John Edward Reese to come forward.

ST. LUCIE COUNTY — Following recent rape-related accusations against a sexual predator, sheriff’s officials Thursday urged anyone who may have been victimized to come forward.

Sheriff Ken Mascara said John Edward Reese, 48, was arrested Jan. 9 after what investigators said was a violation days earlier regarding complying with a curfew.

The next day, TCPalm published a list of arrests, and Reese’s was included.
