Monster double rapist Eric McKenna could have struck many more times.
That’s the view of the detective who brought the sex predator to justice 35 years after he carried out his first terrifying attack.
McKenna is facing jail after a jury found him guilty of raping two strangers in the 1980s.
But Det Cons Michael Wilson, who led the new investigation which this week finally resulted in McKenna’s conviction, fears more victims could be out there.
He said: “I wouldn’t be surprised if there are other women out there who have been attacked by the same male because of the behaviour he has shown.
“I think he has put himself in locations where the opportunity might arise and he has seized that opportunity. He may have perpetrated other attacks and the victims have not reported them.
“If there are any other victims we would urge them to come forward.”
