The First Interstate Barnyard Petting Zoo offers a hands-on experience to learn about livestock and agriculture in South Dakota. The zoo, located in the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center, is free and open daily during the Black Hills Stock Show and Rodeo. Donations go to The Sergeant Colton Levi Derr Foundation.
A West Sussex man is starting a ten-year prison sentence for a series of sexual offences against young girls.
Joshua Humphreys, 25, a waiter, of Rushetts Road, Crawley, was sentenced to ten years and eight months imprisonment at Lewes Crown Court on Monday.
Humphreys admitted 19 sexual offences against five girls aged under 16, between 2011 and 2015, in Crawley, Horsham and East Grinstead, at a hearing on December 8th.
They were five counts of rape, five of sexual assault, one of sexual communication, and one of causing and inciting sexual activity, against one girl; two counts of sexual activity, one of sexual communication and one of inciting and causing sexual activity against a second girl; one count of sexual assault against a third girl; one count of sexual communication against a fourth girl; and one count of sexual communication against a fifth girl.
He was already a registered sex offender, after being convicted
Kyle Stephens, who was abused by Nassar from the ages of 6 to 12, was one of the former gymnasts to read out her statement in a Michigan court, in which she detailed Nassar’s crimes.
They included exposing himself to her, pleasuring himself in front of her, rubbing his penis on her bare feet and putting his finger in her vagina. Stephens told how most of the abuse came under the guise of treatment for serious gymnastics injuries. She said the abuse led to her father’s suicide in 2016.
