A ‘dangerous’ rapist has been jailed for 16 years for a catalogue of sex offences against children as young as eight.
Nigel William Robinson, 46, of no fixed abode, was also given an eight-year extended license when he was sentenced at Preston Crown Court more than a decade after the first of the vile attacks on four youngsters.
Robinson, from Fleetwood, was convicted of a string of 34 charges, with Judge Andrew Woolman calling him a ‘dangerous offender.’
And one of Robinson’s victims, who cannot be named for legal reasons, today spoke out against his crimes.
She told The Gazette: “The fact he pleaded guilty was a massive weight off all our shoulders.
“The judge realised how he can get in people’s heads and that he is a dangerous man.
“(That) all Nigel Robinson could say in his statement was that he couldn’t stop himself shows what kind of man he is.”

Dean Madavan, aged 50, denied the charges of rape and attempted rape during trial, saying he was never even alone with the child who made allegations about him as an adult about 15 years later.
He argued in court that the victim was merely looking for a share of compensation paid out to his other victims, the Plymouth Herald reports.
Madavan, an ex-manager at Roborough Tesco, was jailed for seven years in November 2010 after he admitted on the first day of his trial to 13 counts of indecent assault against eight boys and young men.
He also admitted seven counts of making indecent images of children.

Robert Welham, 26, met the victim through mutual friends she was out with in Beverley, and was heard to comment she had a “nice a**e” after they left a pub.
A friend told him to “cut the s**t” because she was “too young”. He later raped her while she was asleep at a friend’s flat. When the victim woke and realised what was happening, she pushed Welham off. He then sexually assaulted her “for about ten minutes”.
Welham – who has since got married – told police they had consensual sex after his crimes were reported. But a jury did not believe him and convicted him of rape and a sexual assault after a trial at Hull Crown Court.
An Ontario man who sexually abused his young daughters and nieces over close to a decade will spend an indeterminate amount of time behind bars after a judge found he was in denial about his pedophilia and likely to reoffend.

The 34-year old woman ‘raped’ the two minors aged 7 and 13 between July and August this year.
She infected the elder child with herpes.
It was revealed in court that both complainants tested negative for HIV.
The court heard that the woman made the 13-year-old boy conceal the forced sex by telling him that her husband would kill him if the matter came to light. The mother of a 16-year-old child, had last week pleaded not guilty to aggravated indecent assault before regional magistrate Mr Crispen Mberewere.
Mr Mberewere however convicted her due to overwhelming evidence and sentenced her to 20 years in prison.
